Dethroning the iPhone

We produced a high-volume content campaign for Google Pixel, collaborating with the internet’s biggest creators and generating hundreds of millions of views.

The challenge was to make platform-native, UGC style content that was still polished, informative, and fully aligned with strict brand guidelines and key messaging.

The Problem

Google Pixels should be the most popular phone: they combine industry-leading tech with competitive pricing.

However, the "Android" label still has a reputation of being overcomplicated and uncool.

For the Pixel 7 release, Google wanted to highlight their cutting-edge features without being nerdy.
‍
The goal was to showcase the feature as seamless, easy, and fun.

The Solution

For this particular video, we enlisted England footballer Mason Mount (a bit of a national treasure in 2023) known for his friendly and down-to-earth persona.
‍
He was an ideal bridge between Pixel’s tecky features and a broader, less tech-savvy audience.
